These boots are made for walking

Heel wore down the other week, and I got these hard rubber heels added for only 40RMB (less than 7USD)! Sweeeeeet. Back home, I'd just buy a new pair.

PLANE RIDE TO GUANGZHOU (aka Canton)
To escape the unbearable weather of Shanghai, we bought tickets to Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province. A short one hour flight south and we were in a whole new part of China. There we were picked up by my Aunty Emily and her kind driver. The best way for me to describe Guangzhou is, a fast-developing city. It is much warmer than Shanghai. The weather is comparable to Taiwan...more temperate climate conditions.

So my Aunty Emily's family owns this factory... I thought she was kidding
So the make the very thin copper and silver wire from block metal. They are wound up on the huge rolls. The two types of metal are wrapped in a clear rubber material and molded together.

A bundle of the wires are then pulled into the white insulated tubing.
 Recognize these? ...

...How about these? Yes this is a factory that makes the cables for your TV! what what??

Front gate of Aunty Emily's house, where mom, dad and I stayed. Alivia staring contest with Burberry and Kuma
